Hi, I’m Emily

A white femme person sits on a green couch in front of a terracotta colored gallery wall. They are wearing a black button-up shirt, blue jeans, and round glasses. She has tattoos visible on her left arm.
ABOUT ME

I am a professional writer, facilitator, project manager, & community builder.

I use she/they pronouns interchangeably and I live on the unceded lands of the Arapaho, Cheyenne, and Ute tribes in Denver, CO. My queerness informs not only my writing but also my worldview. As a white femme person, I am actively committed to antiracism in my work and in collaboration with others.

I’m a queer writer and creator who’s especially passionate about community care, little treats, and the Oxford comma. Along with being a published poet and essayist, I am currently working on my first novel. A lifelong writer and community builder, I have also worked as a project manager, SaaS implementation consultant, business manager, bookseller, and customer success manager.
